Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

2017 saw our first intake of mechanical, electrical and control & instrumentation apprentices onto the new MOET standard.

As we move closer to this year’s intake we’re already expecting to take on more apprentices than last year.

Experience tells us that it’s difficult to find an apprenticeship provider that can take an inexperienced person and teach them the practical skills that they’ll need to progress in their chosen career path. More often than not, apprentices are taught the theory but the practical skills need to be learnt at site. This in itself poses challenges around the safety of the apprentice and also how an on-site mentor can dedicate the time to ensuring that best practices are learnt.

Our apprenticeship goes a step further than most. Through a BTEC certificate, apprentices will gain the most important technical knowledge that they will need for their chosen field. They will then be taught all of the practical skills that they’ll need at site by our experienced trainers in our purpose-built workshops and classrooms to ensure a safe training environment. They’ll be guided every step of the way by people that are dedicated to seeing them reach their potential and achieve great things once they’ve left our care.

There are still some spaces available for this September’s start so let us know if you’re looking for a solid and effective provider to support your new apprentice intake.
