Course Content
This training course will assist delegates in understanding how to conduct hot work assessments through the following content:
- Define hot work and know why it is an important safety issue
- Raise awareness of the physical and health implications to persons both undertaking the hot works and in the vicinity
- Understand importance of checking location where hot work will be conducted, including consideration of other work in the vicinity
- Understanding fire safety
- Assessing hot work and recommending protection measures
- Understanding importance of site procedures for authorisation of hot work
- Post hot work actions
- Key legal requirements
